Jocelyn Muller is working towards completing her MPhil in Development Studies at the University of Cape Town. She works as a research officer at the Energy Research Centre at UCT.
Her current research interests include the adaptive capacity of emerging wine farmers and the communities living on farms in the wine industry, and poverty alleviation in low income urban households through improving access and use of energy services in the community. Her particular interest is in gender and development issues specifically centred on developing, designing and introducing participatory methods as a capacity building tool so that women are able to articulate their development needs to policy makers.

I have chosen to voice my truth as openly and honestly as possible. I choose to voice my truth openly because it is my belief, that you become all that you are willing to express, in word, in thought and deed. I believe that one of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your Self and voice it openly and honestly. In this way it is possible to make powerful connections with other people.
